A family friend was at the airport and her flight got cancelled. Something went worng and when they reorganized all passengers to other flights, she was left out. Chaos began and she began thinking about her two daughters who were in São Paulo waiting at home, no one was helping her, she got nervous and began crying out of desperation.
A woman came close and asked her what was wrong. She explained and the woman huged her saying: “Don’t worry love, you’ll be home before you know it. I’ll help you, I’m experienced and have travelled a lot in this life”.
Holding hands the woman took my family friend everywhere in the airport, solved it all for her, and took her all the way to the entrance of her boarding gate where they said their goodbyes before parting ways.
The whole time the woman had a smile on her face and was just happy to help.
The family friend couldn’t thank the woman enough for her kindness, love, and humanity.
The woman was Heloisa Schurmann, the mother of the Schurmann family that has been sailing around the world forever.
There are still good people in the world and these angels sometimes cross our paths.
