Are you aware that you’re lonely? ‘Cause I assure you most people aren’t and that’s the problem.
Awareness is knowing something to be true, meaning acknowledging the fact that it exists. Loneliness is a symptom of great fear and as with any other trauma, it has many side effects.
A few loneliness symptoms are:
- Arrogance
- Cynicism
- Sarcasm
- Criticism
- Judgment
- Bitterness
- Isolation
- Guilt
Sometimes it’s hard to admit we resonate with one or more of these symptoms, but doing so is the key to beginning the healing process and finishing properly. That’s how the wound heals completely and you never have to worry about it again.
The first step is observing. The second is being aware that it exists, and the third is studying it so you can apply it in different ways that work for you, not against you.

You need awareness 2 times:
- To see a red flag, realize something’s off, & chase the solution
- To recognize what you found during the search is accurate
Awareness is bringing stuff from the dark out to the light. Bringing fears to the surface consciously & intentionally.
Being aware is knowing it’s there which is super important during a healing process because you can only heal what exists. If you don’t see it, it’s there but you say it’s not so for you, consciously, it doesn’t exist. That’s called denial.
Setting the intention to consciously choose awareness over denial is what makes clarity possible, & ultimately, healing possible.
It starts with awareness & it ends with awareness. Awareness that something’s not right, & after awareness that it’s time for a change.
When you know all the facts & choose the next step from that space: you were aware before choosing.
That’s why lots of people don’t study before choosing. So they can do something damaging to themselves to feed their pain and blame it on the unawareness, on the: I didn’t know that…
