Are you carrying the weight of the world?

“The constant feeling of carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders”

Words I hear every day during my healing sessions and the perfect description of someone who still carries heavy trauma.

Good news! Sometimes yes, there’s still a lot to be healed, but other times all you need is to let go and detach from something that’s already past, just occupying space in your mind, body, and soul.

Here are a few reasons why you might still carry this heavy load:

  • Resisting change because of a desperate need to save a loved one. It can come dressed as fear, negative thoughts, excuses, emotional pain, mental confusion, etc.
  • Addiction to suffering so any high vibration triggers the ego to close your heart, creating energetic barriers that block your rewards.
  • You don’t feel deserving of things flowing to you easily and lovingly. That means you unconsciously hold on to damaging (painful) things. 
  • Your imagination is asleep and you were never exposed to something different.

Start to heal:

  • Cut toxic cords*.  Don’t entertain pain, toxicity, stagnancy, or anything that keeps your loved ones in pain. You are allowed to leave and no one will die because of it. I promise.
  • When you catch yourself blocking good energy, watch how your body reacts. Next time challenge yourself to do the exact opposite.
  • Open up to be seen and loved for exactly who you are. Commit to heavy aerobics every day (meditating after every session/body wide open) and say a firm yes to everything that comes your way for 30 days. Don’t run over your intuition, just your thoughts.
  • You can draw/imagine a green whale, a fat man in high heels, or a hot teacher dressed as an elf. Try to connect with what the eyes can’t see and tune into what you would love to see. Search for theories that totally defy your beliefs. Challenge your brain. 

*toxic cords – Feeding your loved ones with your energy; working as an enabler; running over their healing process; keeping them stuck because they get energy for free without having to move a finger.

Warning! Remember that if you’re trying hard to release the burden and it’s not going away, there’s still unhealed trauma somewhere in you. Go back to following your fears and facing your shadows. Never forget there’s also the possibility you don’t want to release the weight because it covers up for some deeper pain.
